During this time period I thought I was going to return to larger studio paintings and explore mixed media. I was very inspired by the concept of enormous Chicana Buddhas. But with the closing of Children’s Book Press in 2011 a powerful vacuum was created in my life.<\/p>\n

More and more, I focused on writing and education and in 2013 I co-founded School of the Free Mind<\/a>. I began teaching my courses online just as Sky was born.
