This time period is marked by the inclusion of my piece, The Love That Stains, on the cover of Contemporary Chicana and Chicano Art and my profound work with plant teachers.
I journeyed to Brazil during this time and was very moved by that experience. After my return back to the US I painted some of my favorite pieces ever such as Riding the Cactus, The Love That Stains, Heart Like a Boat, and Death Enthroned.
More about this time period can be found in my bio.
